Proceeds from September 12, 2006's show benefitted two great organizations - Community Connection of Northeast Georgia and Family Connection/Communities in Schools. Proceeds from the sale of Finest Worksongs merchandise benefits them as well. Here's a little about both:

Community Connection of Northeast Georgia develops and maintains information and systems which empower individuals and communities to access needed resources and services. Community Connection currently operates the 2-1-1 Information Helpline and provides support to growing programs that fill service gaps in Northeast Georgia. Athens Family Connection/Communities In Schools is a partnership of ninety organizations working with families to research the needs of children and families in our community, and to work together to address those needs. It is the official planning and coordinating body for services for children and families in Athens-Clarke County. Its web site is www.athensconnection.org.
